Day 2 Zion National Park
Kolob Area - Timber Creek Overlook and Taylor Creek

On Monday we went to the Kolob Area of the park. First we took a short hike up to the Timber Creek Overlook. Here's a snow covered ridge seen from the overlook.
Looking down at Timber Creek and its canyon.
A field from the overlook.
Next half the group explored a canyon while the other went up Taylor Creek Trail. Here's one of the many spots where Taylor Creek crosses the trail.
A waterfall on Taylor Creek
Following Taylor Creek past the Double Arches we came to a cool waterfall in a mini-canyon that was four feet across. It was dry at the time. This picture is looking up it.
Just past that waterfall was a cool view of a canyon side with snow on it visible between the canyon walls.
There are two deer in this picture. Can you find them?
